It's Mardi Gras Time!
The Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras Festival is back. From 19 February, Sydney will show off for two whole fabulous weeks as the city unites to become a kaleidoscope of colour.

If you’re coming to town for this annual event, here’s a snapshot of some of the other popular festival events you might want to check out:
- Mardi Gras Film Festival: Presented by Queer Screen, this popular festival will run from 18 February – 3 March. Find out about this year’s top releases here.
- Tina Arena At The Harbour: One of Australia’s musical icons will be belting out her big hits to an intimate audience at the Fleet Steps, Mrs Macquarie’s Chair on 25 February. Read more here.
- The Little Black Dress Run: rock your frock for the 3km run/walk around Darling Harbour in the name of charity on 28 February. Read more here.
- The Parade: On 5 March, over 200,000 people line the streets in support of 10,000 parade entrants who have united for a sparkling spectactle of self-expression. Read more here.
BridgeClimb Celebrates with The Mardi Gras Climb
Back by popular demand, you’ll be dancing all the way to the top of a Sydney icon on this year’s Mardi Gras Climb. Literally. With your Climb Leader as your guide, you will be entertained with an eclectic 80s soundtrack in between hearing stories of the Bridge’s and Sydney’s past.
Once you reach the summit, you’ll be able to perform karaoke on a stage like no other! Choose from a selection of classic 80s tracks and get into character with items from our Novelty Prop Box. You’ll receive an 8s video of your performance which is yours to keep.
The Mardi Gras Climb will be available from 25 February until the 9 March.
