To celebrate the winter school holidays, you can score free tickets to climb the iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge by participating in a scavenger hunt for hidden envelopes around The Rocks. Channel your inner Sherlock Holmes as you search for someone in a BridgeClimb suit holding one of five envelopes scattered across various locations in The Rocks.

There are five major prizes to be won, with each envelope containing a prize letter that allows the finder to book a BridgeClimb experience for free. The major prizes include:

• 1 x Twilight Climb for two people
• 1 x Summit Day Climb for two people
• 1 x Ultimate Climb for two people
• 1 x Burrawa Aboriginal Climb for two people
• 1 x Family Climb for two adults and two kids

Tune into BridgeClimb’s social media channels (Facebook and Instagram) at 11:00am on Saturday morning (July 6) for clues to the locations of the hidden notes. The scavenger hunt will be available for a limited time on a first in, best dressed basis. For those who miss out on a major prize, there will 5 minor prizes up for grabs at each location.

Scavenger Hunt Terms & Conditions

General Information

• Event Date: Saturday, 6 July 2024
• Time: 11:00am to 1:00pm
• Location: The Rocks, Sydney
• Organiser: BridgeClimb Sydney

Eligibility

1. Participants: The event is open to all individuals. However, major prizes are limited to one per person. Participants must ensure they meet BridgeClimb Sydney’s minimum health & safety requirements to climb – see our terms and conditions for details.

2. Age Requirement: Climbers must be 8 years of age or over, be at least 120cm, be of sound mind and be in good health.

Prizes

1. Major Prizes: Five envelopes containing prize letters for the following experiences:
o 1 x Twilight Climb for two people – T&Cs on prize letter.
o 1 x Summit Day Climb for two people – T&Cs on prize letter.
o 1 x Ultimate Climb for two people – T&Cs on prize letter.
o 1 x Burrawa Climb for two people – T&Cs on prize letter.
o 1 x Family Climb for two adults and two children – T&Cs on prize letter.
2. Minor Prizes: Small prizes for the first 5 people at each location who miss out on a major prize.

How to Participate

1. Clues: Clues to the envelopes' locations will be revealed on BridgeClimb’s Facebook and Instagram accounts at 11:00 am on Saturday, July 6.
2. Search: Participants must find one of the five envelopes hidden around The Rocks. Envelopes will be held by individuals wearing a BridgeClimb suit.
3. Prize Redemption: Instructions for redeeming the prizes are inside each envelope. Winners must follow the instructions to book their BridgeClimb experience.

Rules and Regulations

1. One Prize Per Person: Participants are only eligible to win one major prize. If multiple envelopes are found, only one can be taken.
2. Envelope Locations: Most envelopes will be in outdoor locations. Any indoor locations will be specified in the clues.
3. Respect for Property: Participants must not open doors or move heavy furniture to find envelopes. All surroundings must be respected and left as they were found.
4. Participation: By participating, individuals agree to these terms and conditions and the decisions of the organiser, which are final and binding in all respects.

Social Media Engagement

1. Sharing: Winners are encouraged to share a photo of their envelope on social media, tagging @bridgeclimb.
2. Publicity: By participating, winners agree to the use of their names and images for promotional purposes without additional compensation.
