Chiling Lin Takes a Break From Fashion to Enjoy the High Life on the Sydney Harbour Bridge

On Friday 10th April 2015 Taiwanese model and actress Chiling Lin and friends climbed the Sydney Harbour Bridge, enjoying a magical sunset with a unique back drop of Sydney on BridgeClimb Mandarin experience at Twilight.

Chiling Lin arrived in Sydney on April 11 for the Queen Elizabeth Stakes, a feature horse race on the cards of ‘The Championship’ in Sydney, where she helped judge the Myer Fashions on the Field event, celebrating the most elegant and fashionable women attending.

The style icon took a break from her busy schedule and the burdens of fashion to slip into the BridgeClimb grey onesie, which all climbers wear for comfort and safety, and journey to the top of the iconic steel structure, 134 meters above the sparkling Sydney Harbour.

Chiling Lin said, “360 degree awesome view of Sydney. Gain fast and brief knowledge of the city. So peaceful, as if can throw all the worries away. The landmark of Sydney. Step by Step, must climb up to challenge yourself.”

Her Climb Leader, Alex Chen, told BridgeClimb she was very graceful throughout her climb and was particularly taken in with the spectacular view. She asked questions about the history of the Bridge and about the some of the famous Chinese people in Australia’s History.

Chiling Lin’s Climb photo will be posted on the BridgeClimb Wall of Fame, where she will join an array of international celebrities who have climbed. These include popular Chinese celebrity Nicky Wu, who climbed the Bridge at the end on 2013, while in Australia to experience Sydney’s best coastal lifestyle, food and wine, nature and adventure activities.

Since the introduction of BridgeClimb Mandarin in 2013, BridgeClimb has welcomed over 25,000 Chinese Climbers and continues to show a strong commitment to the Chinese market.

During Vivid Sydney (22 May – 8 June 2015), BridgeClimb will once again offer The Vivid Climb, giving Climbers the chance to escape the crowds and enjoy the magic of Vivid from the top of the Sydney Harbour Bridge. A unique and interactive light installation, only available to Climbers, will be part of the experience. Vivid Climbs in Mandarin will operate each night throughout the festival.

This year marks the launch of the first bespoke Chinese New Year product, The Karaoke Climb, which complete with two giant plasma screens, microphones, and a song list featuring five Chinese Karaoke favourites, allows Climbers to sing their hearts out with family and friends 134 metres above the harbour.

BridgeClimb also offers tailored Climb experiences for large groups, ranging from 10 to 10,000 or more, with the ability to operate under a super capacity model that allows for more frequent departures and increased group sizes.
