BridgeClimb Launches The Australia Day Rock Music Climb
Rock Out to the Best Aussie Anthems on the Sydney Harbour Bridge this Australia Day
On 26th January, BridgeClimb is launching a patriotic tribute to celebrate Australia Day, encouraging Sydney locals and visitors to ascend a national icon whilst rocking out to the best Aussie anthems of all time, on The Australia Day Rock Music Climb.
Participants will take a trip down memory lane, as they climb the famous steel arches to songs from legendary Australian artists like AC/DC, INXS, and Cold Chisel. The music will pump through their headsets, alternating with fun, and historical and contemporary commentary given by the Climb Leader.
Throughout the duration of the climb, each group will have the best view in Sydney of the bustling city and will enjoy the annual Australia Day spectacle surrounding the beautiful Harbour.
BridgeClimb Climb Leader Max said, “Surely there is nothing more Australian than The Australia Day Rock Music Climb. Whilst ticking off the bucket list activity, locals can take pride in their country feeling like dedicated patriots, not to mention, visitors can truly submerge themselves in the Aussies spirit. Strewth!”
The Australia Day Rock Music Climb will follow the standard BridgeClimb and BridgeClimb Express routes, climbing 134 metres to the summit of the Sydney Harbour Bridge.
The BridgeClimb route journeys to the summit along the upper arch of the Bridge, whilst the BridgeClimb Express journeys through the heart of the Bridge along the inner arch and bursts through to the summit from below. Both routes give Climbers a 360 degree panorama of Sydney.
