BridgeClimb is recognised as a hallmark destination at the 2007 NSW Tourism Awards
BridgeClimb Sydney has won best ‘Major Tourist Attraction’ at the 2007 New South Wales Tourism Awards held last night, Thursday 15th November, at a ceremony at Star City Hotel.
This is the sixth time that BridgeClimb has received this prestigious award since commencing its operations in 1998. The award celebrates and acknowledges tourism businesses that have demonstrated outstanding achievement throughout the past year.
BridgeClimb’s Managing Director, Todd Coates, accepted the award and acknowledged all of the climbers who have given BridgeClimb the chance to create for them an unforgettable memory of the world famous Sydney Harbour Bridge.
“Winning this award will inspire our team to drive forward with even greater commitment to ensure that every climber has the experience of a life time,” said Mr. Coates.
Mr. Coates also recognised the significance of winning this award during the 75th anniversary of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and quoted the words of the Governor of NSW, Prof. Marie Bashir, from this year’s celebrations - “A structure for its time has become a structure for all times”.
