BridgeClimb Sydney is proud to announce an exciting new partnership with Dreamtime Southern X, expanding their commitment to Indigenous education and cultural awareness. This captivating cultural experience merges the exhilaration of climbing the iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge with the deep traditions of Aboriginal culture.

A Unique Cultural Prelude to Your Climb

Guests will embark on their adventure with a traditional Welcome to Country and an immersive Indigenous smoking ceremony at Dawes Point Reserve, situated directly beneath the Sydney Harbour Bridge. This experience, guided by a local Aboriginal Elder from Dreamtime Southern X, founded by Aunty Margret Campbell, will enrich the guests’ understanding of the ceremony’s origins, purpose, and significance to modern Aboriginal people.

Aunty Margret, a revered figure in the Aboriginal community, shares her wisdom: "Connecting with the land and our cultural heritage is an essential part of who we are. This ceremony offers a unique opportunity for participants to experience the profound connection we have with our Country."

Engage with Living History

Guests will learn how to walk on Country with respect and feel the ancient connection to the land through a blessing from dallawaladah. They will begin their journey into the sky with the Burra Cloud Clan Stories, engaging with these living, seasonal Dreaming Songline Episodes that weave a rich cultural tapestry. This serene setting, offering stunning views of the Sydney Opera House, provides the perfect pre-Climb add-on, making the BridgeClimb experience even more unforgettable.

• Price: $75 per climber*
• Ceremony Duration: 30-45 minutes
• Group Size: Minimum 20 pax (smaller groups possible but will need to pay for 20 pax); Maximum 50 pax. For larger groups, please contact the BridgeClimb team for options.

The guests' adventure begins at the BridgeClimb Base, where a friendly team member will escort them to the ceremony site, just a short 2-minute walk away.

Extend Your Cultural Journey

After the ceremony, guests can continue their cultural journey with the Burrawa Climb, led by a First Nations Storyteller. This climb is available twice weekly, every Tuesday and Sunday at 11:35 am. Additionally, $20 from each adult ticket is donated to BridgeClimb’s charity partner, Tribal Warrior, supporting their vital community work.
