1.6k Joymain Climbers Chant Bu, Bu Gao Sheng From The Top of Sydney Harbour Bridge
From 28th February to 3rd March 2015, more than 1,600 Chinese distributors, from Chinese direct selling company Joymain, chose to put the internationally renowned saying "bu, bu gao sheng" (win success with every step you take) into action and celebrate the Year of the Sheep from the top of the Sydney Harbour Bridge.
The magnitude of this latest coup for BridgeClimb is a reflection of their ability to operate under a super capacity model, catering for and developing unique elements for very large incentive and conference groups, BridgeClimb’s commitment to celebrating important cultural occasions, and continued growth of the Chinese market in Australia.
Due to their group size and the importance of their visit to Australia, Joymain were granted exclusive access on the Bridge for a period over the four days and special branding privileges.
Joymain President, Mr Xi Jian Zhou (周希俭), said, “We have brought 1,600 of our finest employees to experience the unforgettable journey to the summit of the Sydney Harbour Bridge. Over the last four days, the 1.6 million steps we have climbed together as a team represent the success we will win with every step we take in the upcoming year.”
Since the introduction of BridgeClimb Mandarin in 2013, BridgeClimb has hosted a number of special events for the Eastern market, including: a record-breaking Climb of 2,100 for a Chinese incentive group, a Lion Dance performance at the summit, a Moon Festival celebration, a Mahjong championship event and a magnificent 15-metre long Dragon scaling the arches of the Sydney Harbour Bridge.
BridgeClimb CEO Todd Coates said, “We are honoured 1,600 team members from Joymain chose to see in the Year of the Sheep on the Sydney Harbour Bridge. This is another milestone celebration for BridgeClimb, both for our continued relations with China and our ongoing success in creating tailored experiences for large corporate groups.
“BridgeClimb is privileged to operate on an international icon and proud to host unique events that add tremendous value for corporate team building and incentive events. Our approach is agile and flexible to meet the objectives of any client, whether that be for Eastern, Western or Corporate markets, for small private bookings, large incentive groups or for local and international tourists.”
The Joymain Climbers took part in the BridgeClimb Mandarin, safely traveling through the heart of the Sydney Harbour Bridge’s massive structure before ascending to the very top of the Bridge. At the summit, Climbers were rewarded with spectacular 360 degree views of the city and one of the most beautiful harbours in the world.
BridgeClimb offers tailored Climb experiences for large groups, ranging from 10 to 10,000 or more, with the ability to operate under a super capacity model that allows for more frequent departures and increased group sizes.
This year also marks the launch of the first Chinese New Year product, The Karaoke Climb, which complete with two giant plasma screens, microphones, and a song list featuring five Chinese Karaoke favourites, allows Climbers to sing their hearts out with family and friends 134 metres above the harbour.
