Aladdin and Jasmine surprised 8 Sydney singles with ‘A Whole New World’ on the summit of the Bridge

On Tuesday 14 February, just as the sun was starting to rise above the horizon, eight Sydney hopefuls-in-love made their way to the summit of the Bridge for a Valentine’s Day date like no other. The four couples, matched according to their eHarmony dating profiles, braved the nerves as they met each other for the first time and had an unforgettable first date atop an Australian icon.

As the Climbers approached the summit with the beautifully coloured sky as a backdrop, they had no idea they were in for a spectacular surprise: As they stood watching the sunrise, Aladdin and Jasmine from the Disney’s hit Broadway show serenaded the four couples with “A Whole New World”.


Climb Leader Tracy, who guided the Valentines up the iconic arches, said: “We definitely saw some chemistry amongst the Climbers today and who knows, maybe next Valentine’s Day we’ll welcome one of these couples back on the Bridge for a proposal or even a wedding on the summit.”
