Love On A Landmark: The Sunset Sessions Stir Romance Across Sydney

We might be biased, but we think Sydney is one of the most photogenic and charismatic cities around. From the famous New Year’s Eve fireworks in summer, to the bright and bold lights of Vivid Sydney in winter; Australia’s Harbour City has so much to offer to locals and visitors alike no matter the season.

Winter is a particularly special time to fall in love with it, as the crisp (but not bitter) winter air allows more light to travel through the atmosphere during twilight allowing the skies to illuminate like a famous impressionist painting above you. It’s the stuff memories are made of.

To enjoy this lovely time of year, we invited local barbershop quartet gems Sydney Harmony to spoil you with songs as the sun makes its descent. From You Can’t Buy Me Love to You Are So Beautiful, there hasn’t been a dry eye on the Bridge as the boys sing, 134m high above Sydney Harbour, during our July-only Sunset Sessions. Here’s a sneak peak:

Fiona, who joined us for a Sunset Session on Sunday 10 July, wanted to climb the Bridge to celebrate her 22nd anniversary with her husband Paul.

“It is so easy to keep romance alive when you are first married! All you need to do is look into each other's eyes & swoon...We just celebrated our 22nd wedding anniversary and although the love and respect is there, finding moments of romance is tough. Bridge, views, sunset, music - bingo!”

The Sunset Sessions run during Twilight Climbs on Sundays in July. If you’d like to enjoy a serenade with your special someone, tickets are still available for our remaining sessions on Sunday 17, 24 and 31 July 2016.
