THE WORLD’S BIGGEST MONOPOLY FAN COLLECTS ICONIC 2,000TH EDITION ON TOP OF SYDNEY HARBOUR BRIDGE

Today, the world’s largest Monopoly fan and Guinness World Record holder Neil Scallan, climbed to the top of the Sydney Harbour Bridge to tick off his number one bucket list experience and collect his 2,000th special edition Monopoly board.

Mr. Scallan explains, “My obsession with collecting Monopoly boards only started 10 years ago when I was on holiday.  I wanted to buy a souvenir that reminded me of the trip, but a key ring or a fridge magnet was too predictable so I opted for a Monopoly board and that’s where it all began. So it’s incredibly fitting that my 2,000th edition was collected on an international trip!”

Mr. Scallan was surprised by Mr. Monopoly awaiting his arrival at the summit of the Bridge, as the pair enjoyed a 360 degree view of the great city and landmarks that the special edition board represents.
