Attention teachers! Did you know we host hundreds of school students each year for a Bridge experience?

Our Climbs offer you, and your students, the perfect excursion outing to experience an Australian icon in the context of our nation’s contemporary history.

Choosing from various Climbs ranging from 1.5 - 3.5 hours, students will be led by BridgeClimb’s professional Climb Leaders on a school excursion like no other in Australia.

The experience is a true mix of physical and mental activity – apart from teaching students to appreciate the size and magnitude of the structure by climbing it, the Climb itself includes commentary by our professional Climb Leaders.

Each Climb Leader has completed a rigorous training program to be able to provide commentary that is second-to-none, offering important information about the history of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Sydney itself. The commentary includes details about the Bridge’s construction and its position as an engineering feat, and the importance of the Bridge amongst the cities’ contemporary landscape. Throughout the Climb there are a number of opportunities for students to ask any questions expanding on the commentary, making it a very interactive and immersive experience.
