3. Check out The Rock's boutiques

The Rocks precinct in Sydney is contemporary art galleries, independent boutiques and awesome unique stores including one-of-a-kind delights from Sticky, a candy store in The Rocks focusing on hand-made, vegan, cruelty personalised lollies. Their owner David King suggests If you are having trouble deciding between all of their amazing flavours and colour on your next visit, getting one bag of each flavour - as the perfect great Rocks souvenir for you to share with family and friends. 5. Get spooked on a Ghost tour of The Rocks

If you are looking for a frightful Sydney activity, we've found your answer in the heart of The Rocks. 6. Enjoy The Rocks culture hotspot, MCA

The Rocks is home to one of Sydney's top cultural spots, The Museum of Contemporary Art. It's dedicated to exhibiting, collecting and interpreting the work of today’s artists with over 4000 works by Australian artists on display. Our favourite way to explore this 5 storey museum is through their late sessions every Friday, where you can also enjoy some of the best views of The Rocks whilst enjoying a glass of wine from the rooftop terrace.

7. Enjoy a sunrise yoga session in The Rocks

The Rocks is home to an entire array of accommodation from 5* hotels, boutique guesthouses and affordable accommodation. One of our favourite best value stays has to be YHA in The Rocks. It’s built above archaeological remnants of colonial Sydney and combines state-of-the-art facilities with a heritage experience. The deputy manager of this hidden gem Gemma Linton suggests borrowing a yoga mat from the hotel's reception to do some stretches on the terrace as the sun rises. The spacious rooftop terrace looks over the iconic harbour and takes in everything from the Harbour Bridge, Sydney Opera House and cityscape views. 8. Check out the famous Rocks Markets

A visit to The Rocks is not complete without a trip to the Markets, there really is something for all ages and tastes! Friday afternoon kicks off with food stalls featuring gourmet street food, Bridgeclimb staff favourites include Dare's gozleme featuring sweet and savoury fillings, La Gitana's range of Spanish Paellas - the seafood being the overall winner as well as Nata's & Co's authentic Portugese custard tarts and pastries for a sweet treat. Across the weekend you'll find plenty of pop up artisan goods stalls with unique gifts such as jewellery, handmade cards and eco conscious accessories. 9. Get your art on in The Rocks

The Rocks is full of art, whatever your taste - from galleries to market stalls - The Rocks is one of Sydney's top spots jammed packed full of art. Be sure to check out The Argyle Gallery in The Rocks which is home to a large collection of unique Aboriginal art and fine crafts, sourced directly from Aboriginal communities and the artists themselves. This 20 year old gallery houses an impressive collection of Aboriginal art which is available to buy and features dreamtime stories which tell the tales of Indigenous bloodlines and languages.
We also love checking out Matt Pearson's gallery on George Street in The Rocks. Matt perfectly captures images of some of the world's most beautiful land and seascapes including many of Sydney Harbour and the surrounds. In fact Matt's photography skills won BridgeClimb's inaugural 'Bridge Insider photography competition', which you can check out here. The competition celebrated Sydney’s local arts and creative industry, and saw a select group of professional photographers invited to create a new series of work, shooting from the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Pylon.

10. Enjoy an artisan Coffee in The Rocks

In our opinion, The Rocks precinct is home to some of the best coffee makers in Sydney, there really is no better place to sit down, enjoy your favourite mug of the smooth stuff and watch the world go by. Our top recommendations are Aslan coffee which tucked away in Nurse Walk and offers batch brew, cold brew and nitro alongside your standard coffee. Other crowd pleasers include enjoying a decadent hot chocolate at the Guylian Cafe in the centre of The Rocks or the new Black & White Espresso bar which offers uber cool, hipster vibes.
