DANCE RITES

This weekend the Sydney Opera House forecourt will come alive with performances from First Nations dancers from Australia and around the World. The Dance Rites festival is a competition that displays traditional indigenous customs through dance, and is part of the UN International Year of Indigenous Languages celebration.

It may still be November, but believe it or not its only 4 weeks to Christmas! Experience the magic of the festive season at the Sydney Santa Spectacular at Penrith Panthers. This massive Christmas event runs throughout December and includes lots of rides, an enchanted snowy forest, ice-skating and even Santa’s Stables where you and the kids can meet the one and only Rudolph!

COCKATOO ISLAND SUNSET SESSIONS

This weekend is also the launch of Cockatoo Island’s Sunset Sessions. Every Saturday until March you can hop on the ferry from Circular Quay over to the island for chilled acoustic performances with the harbour and the bridge as your backdrop. Or even better, witness the sunset from up here on a Twilight Climb.
